SLU Named 'Military Friendly School' for Third Consecutive Year
For the third year in a row, Saint Louis University has been named one of G.I. Jobs' "Military Friendly Schools." The publication's 2012 list honors the top 15 percent of colleges, universities and trade schools that are doing the most to embrace America's veterans as students.
Criteria for making the Military Friendly Schools list included efforts to recruit and retain military and veteran students, results in recruiting military and veteran students and academic accreditations. Saint Louis University is a member of the Servicemembers Opportunity Colleges consortium, which expands higher education opportunities for men and women in the armed forces.
