SLU-Madrid Class of 2025 Represents 22 Countries and 21 U.S. States

On May 12, Saint Louis University-Madrid held its Spring 2025 Commencement Ceremony at nearby Espacio Pablo VI.

This year's 98 graduates come from 22 countries and one U.S. territory, including Australia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Côte d'Ivoire, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Georgia, Italy, Lebanon, Panama, the Philippines, Puerto Rico, Russia, Spain, Switzerland, Tunisia, the United Kingdom, the United States and Venezuela.

Graduates also represented 21 U.S. states, from coast to coast: California, Colorado, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Missouri, Montana, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, Virginia and Washington.

Spanish graduates call three of Spain's 17 autonomous communities home, those being Andalusia, Aragon and Madrid.

Among the graduates were eight master's students, representing Belarus, El Salvador and the United States. American master’s students came from five U.S. states: Georgia, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Virginia and Washington.

The most popular majors among SLU-Madrid's Spring 2025 graduates were psychology, international studies and communication.

Three students from Suffolk University were also recognized during the ceremony, having completed their degrees at SLU-Madrid following the closure of Suffolk's Madrid campus in 2024.
