French, Minor
Saint Louis University's French minor explores both language and culture through required courses and electives dedicated to literature, cinema, food, politics, science and more.
French students at SLU must complete a minimum of 18 credit hours for the minor regardless of whether they start at FREN 2010 Intermediate French Language & Culture or later. No more than six related hours conducted in English will count toward the French minor.
Students must complete a minimum total of 18 credits for the minor.

Continuation Standards
All French minor courses must be completed with a grade of C or higher in order to count for the minor and for the student to continue in the minor.
