Research Interests

Kuebli's research focuses on socialization processes in the family, including the socialization of children’s emotion understanding and behavior, family discourse and development, health/safety socialization, and the psychology of parenting.  She also studies the role of families in children’s science and math development, and their explanatory development.  Additionally, she applies developmental science as a community engaged scholar through partnering with local schools and organizations to better understand, enhance and assess children’s executive function and self-regulation capacities.
