Women's and Gender Studies Faculty

The faculty in Saint Louis University’s Department of Women’s and Gender Studies are leading scholars in their fields. Faculty research and teaching are intersectional, considering gender in the contexts of race, class, religion, disability, sexuality, and citizenship, among other categories of identity. Their interests include gender-based violence; film, internet and technology studies; social activism in St. Louis and beyond; law and policy; motherhood studies; global and transnational feminism; the history of women in the U.S.; sexuality studies; gender and healthcare; poverty; and gender, law and policy.
