Judge George Draper received his law degree from Howard University, after which he clerked for the Honorable Shellie Bowers of the District of Columbia Superior Court.
Practice Areas
Before joining the bench, he served in the Office of Circuit Attorney for the City of St. Louis. He was appointed to the bench in 1994 as associate circuit judge, in 1998 as circuit judge and in 2000 as judge of the Missouri Court of Appeals. In 2011, Judge Draper was appointed to the Missouri Supreme Court. He is a member of the Missouri Bar, the Mound City Bar Association and the Lawyer’s Association, and has taught in the Trial Advocacy program for over ten years. He teaches Trial Advocacy I.
