Faculty and Staff Awards

The Saint Louis University College of Arts and Sciences bestows annual awards to honor faculty and staff for a wide range of achievements.

One full-time faculty member from the SLU College of Arts and Sciences receives an Excellence in Undergraduate Mentoring Award, while one full-time professor from each of the college’s divisions (humanities, sciences, social sciences) receives the Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching Award.

The college also grants awards for Excellence in Research, Excellence in Graduate Teaching, Excellence in Graduate Mentoring, and Excellence in Adjunct Teaching.

Nominations for the awards can be made by fellow faculty, students or staff. Faculty, staff and students are also encouraged to submit nominations for the Arts and Sciences Staff Excellence Award. Nominees must be Saint Louis University College of Arts and Sciences faculty or staff members.
