Student Financial Responsibility

All students must complete a student financial responsibility agreement each year through Banner Self-Service.

What is the Student Financial Responsibility Agreement?

This agreement outlines your financial obligations as a SLU student. When you register for classes or receive services, the University incurs costs on your behalf. The agreement ensures you understand your responsibility to:

  • Pay tuition, fees, and other charges by published deadlines.
  • Review your eBill regularly—billing notifications are sent to your SLU email, but you are responsible for checking your account.
  • Follow refund and withdrawal policies if you drop or withdraw from classes.
  • Keep your contact information (email, phone, and address) up to date.
  • Understand that unpaid balances may result in holds, late fees, or collection activity.

Why It Matters

Completing this agreement ensures you understand the financial expectations that come with enrolling at SLU. It helps prevent surprises later — such as registration holds or late fees — and supports transparency between you and the University.
