Summer

The summer can bring a variety of opportunities, including employment opportunities and enrolling in coursework at the Saint Louis University School of Law.

SLU students can receive federal loans for the summer semester as long as they are enrolled at least part-time. Part-time summer enrollment is a minimum of 3 credit hours. Summer has its own academic period and budget. Financial aid for the summer semester may include a Direct Unsubsidized loan, a Direct PLUS loan, a private loan or federal work-study funds.

Review Loan Options

Summer tuition varies based upon your number of credit hours. For summer 2025, law tuition is $1,610 per credit hour with a maximum of $6,440. If you enroll in non-law courses at SLU, you should review those rates.
