The Research Computing Group (RCG) builds on Saint Louis University's ambition to
develop and improve computing infrastructure, technology, services and support for
research.
It is the result of a collaboration between the Office of the Vice President for Research
and Information Technology Services. The group offers an array of research computing
services to SLU's faculty and students. The RCG is located in the Interdisciplinary
Science and Engineering Building, Suite 219.

High-Performance Computing Cluster (HPC)
The Research Computing Group, in collaboration with our expert partners, Data in Science Technologies (DST), manages the University's high performance computing (HPC) environment. A high performance computing cluster is a clustered computer infrastructure used to solve advanced, complex computation problems on large data sets.
The HPC team offers a variety of HPC services that include:
- Creation of accounts on the high performance computing cluster
- Installation of software on the high performance computing cluster
- Consultation regarding hardware requirements for high-performance computing applications
The cluster is available to current faculty members and their teams at Saint Louis University. There is no cost to use the HPC unless you would like dedicated nodes.
